Job Summary: The Pricing Intern will support the Pricing Team in analyzing market trends, developing pricing strategies, and optimizing pricing models using data science and machine learning techniques. This role is ideal for a candidate looking to gain hands-on experience in pricing strategy, data analysis, and the FMCG sector.

- 3 Months Internship

Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis:
o Assist in collecting and analyzing data on market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior.
o Perform quantitative analysis to support pricing decisions.
o Prepare and maintain pricing reports and dashboards.
2. Pricing Strategy:
o Support the development and implementation of pricing strategies for various products.
o Assist in conducting pricing experiments and evaluating their impact on sales and profitability.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing strategies align with business objectives.
3. Market Research:
o Conduct research on industry trends and competitive landscape.
o Monitor and report on changes in the market that may affect pricing strategies.
o Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings.
4. Process Improvement:
o Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements in pricing operations.
o Support the implementation of new pricing tools and systems.
o Participate in projects aimed at enhancing pricing efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Data Science and Machine Learning (A plus):
o Design and develop pricing models using data science and machine learning techniques.
o Analyze large datasets to identify pricing patterns and opportunities.
o Implement predictive analytics to forecast demand and optimize pricing strategies.
o Collaborate with the data science team to integrate machine learning models into the pricing processes.

Qualifications:
• Recently completed a degree in Business Informatics, Financial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or statistical software.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present findings clearly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience or coursework in pricing, market research, or related fields is a plus.
• Familiarity with e-commerce and FMCG industries is an advantage.
