Role Overview:
We are looking for a Junior Data Scientist with a passion for data-driven problem-solving to join our data science team. The ideal candidate should combine technical expertise, critical thinking, and a business mindset to develop and maintain statistical and machine-learning models, deliver actionable insights, and contribute to decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and experiments with statistical rigor.
  • Apply causal inference techniques to identify relationships and measure the impact of interventions or strategic decisions.
  • Build, validate, and maintain statistical and machine-learning models to address key business challenges.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data, ensuring findings are statistically valid and business-relevant.
  • Communicate complex statistical concepts and results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor model performance and refine methodologies to improve accuracy and reliability.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Python and key libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels).
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis, A/B testing methodologies, and causal inference.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Matplotlib).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey insights and statistical concepts clearly.
